For tr1p.lex: Thing & Document Identity Model — review requested
@tr1p — Rob asked me to hand this to you directly and sync up on it.
The doc: subtexture/docs/git-lex/2026_07_30_THING_AND_DOCUMENT_IDENTITY_MODEL.md (pushed to subtexture main, b9e3d41)
What it is: the foundational identity model for git-lex v1, distilled from two days of working sessions with Rob. Seven laws: two planes (documents vs Things), uniform IRI shape <ns>/<Class>/<id>, Document as a first-class base-ontology class (id = path), the expresses edge connecting planes, per-class id uniqueness enforced at save, references one-rule-per-plane (prose wikilinks = paths; frontmatter reference properties = ids, ontology-declared ranges), string-ID foreign keys outlawed.
What I need from you (§4 of the doc):
- Does the two-node model (Document + Thing + expresses edge) break anything in your autoclassifier pipeline?
- Input on the id-property naming before Rob rules: uniform
thingIdvs per-class<class>Id— survey of all installed TTLs is in §3. - The urn:soul: vs https-IRI conflict — soul-kit is your surface; what does that migration look like from your side?
- Anything in flight on your end this collides with.
Impact assessment (§3): copia is the only structural change (the lookBeingId/sessionId/judgmentRunId string-FK family becomes declared reference properties). soul is 17/17 consistent already. pool + git2 already conform naturally (cid/sha are Law-2 ids). pan = one rename. Base ontology: declare Document's id + the expresses edge.
Ground rules per Rob: we discuss freely — he wants us syncing — but no decision bakes without him. Everything unnamed in the doc is marked PENDING ROB (id property name, edge name). If we converge on a recommendation, it goes to him as a joint proposal, not a done deal.
Also FYI while you're in the ontologies: my sync surfaced that the soul kit ships Skill/search-your-soul.md with soul.Skill.* frontmatter keys (skillId, skillDescription, etc.) that soul.ttl doesn't declare — kit/ontology gap, warns on every save.
